Recycling is often viewed as a luxurious and costly program. This could not be further from the truth. Many business and universities often introduce such programs due to social pressures. This leads recycling to become inconsequential, and expensive. However, viewing it as a sustainable necessity, many times leads recycling to be enjoyable, exciting, and most of all proļ¬table. In addition, with every pound of material recycled, not only does it increase rebates from the recycling company; it decreases costs paid to the waste companies.
